Special Needs Education Policy
The Special Needs Education Policy program:
- Conducts policy-based research to identify challenges inhibiting learners with special needs from equitably accessing quality education services, to inform policy and programme reforms.
- Strengthens capacities of stakeholders in; specialized support services (e.g. Sign language interpreters, Braille transcribers etc.), and specialized teaching methods.
PWDS Employment Program (PEP)
The program promotes disability rights and well-being through research and advocacy for inclusive policies and programs. It focuses on education, employment, social security, accessibility, and rehabilitation. Key initiatives include the Accessible Services Campaign for barrier-free environments. PEP collaborates with stakeholders to create a more equitable society where individuals with disabilities can reach their full potential.
Women Leadership Development
The program empowers women to excel in leadership roles by nurturing self-confidence, honing assertive communication, and fostering valuable mentorship relationships. It challenges gender stereotypes worldwide by deconstructing them and promoting gender equality.
